Epic documentary special about the collecting lives of prominent donors to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, including J.P. Morgan, Robert Lehman, Benjamin Altman, and three generations of Rockefellers, whose collections are at the core of the museum’s holdings. The film is narrated by descendants of the collectors, as well as the museum’s Director, Philippe de Montebello. Personal childhood recollections of the Havemeyer’s grandson, J.
